Promotions, Honours & Awards
Although we have not been able to conduct any large scale parades we have still ensured that our soldiers have been promoted or received the appropriate recognition for their performance. It is always a pleasure to see Strathconas recognized for their excellence, as well as letting families pin on a well-deserved rank or two!
Although this year has proven challenging, especially to gather as a Regimental family, we still have members that continue to be recognized. This past week we were honoured to have both the Commander Canadian Army, LGen Wayne Eyre, and Commander 3rd Canadian Division Support Group, Col Patrick Lemyre (12e RBC), present to recognize Strathconas.
On 25 June 2020 as part of his visit to preside over the promotion of BGen Bob Ritchie, the CCA also presented numerous awards to deserving members of 1 CMBG. LGen Eyre presented the following awards to Strathconas:
