Captain S. Clubine
AdjutantCaptain Stephanie Clubine grew up in Brownsburg, Quebec, before enrolling in the Canadian Armed Forces in 2009 via the Regular Officer Training Program. Upon completion of her Bachelor of Arts degree in Honours Psychology in 2014 at the Royal Military College of Canada in Kingston, Ontario, she was posted to the Royal Canadian Armour Corps School. In December 2014, she completed her Armour Officer training and was badged a Strathcona. In January 2015, she was posted to Lord Strathcona’s Horse (Royal Canadians) in Edmonton, Alberta. She served the Regiment as the Assistant Adjutant and as a Reconnaissance Troop Leader before being posted to the 3rd Canadian Division Support Base Operations Services Branch as their Adjutant in 2018. In 2021, she was posted to the 3rd Canadian Division Headquarters as G1 Honours & Recognition. Since 2018, Captain Clubine has also been involved in the Edmonton Defence Women’s Advisory Organization, and is currently the Military Co-Chair. She remains passionate about improving personnel policies that affect the employment of soldiers with young families, and works with the Defence Women’s Advisory Organization to support those soldiers. She completed her Master of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies in 2022, conducting a study on workplace lactation in Canadian Army work environments. In 2022, she was posted back to the Regiment as the Adjutant. Captain Clubine and her husband Captain Jon Clubine live in Edmonton with their two young children. They enjoy spending time as a family outdoors, camping, canoeing, and hiking. Despite their house being divided between supporting the Montréal Canadiens and the Toronto Maple Leafs, they also enjoy watching hockey. |
