This Spring, the Regiment is sending a number of soldiers and officers as the lead mounting unit for Operation UNIFIER in Ukraine.  This operation is Canada’s contribution to support Ukrainian forces through capacity building, in coordination with the U.S. and other countries.  As described by the Government of Canada, military assistance is one component of Canada’s support Ukraine across development, security, democracy, and humanitarian aid.
