Line of Operation (LoE) 1 Conducts Urban Ops Training

At the International Peacekeeping and Security Center (IPSC), LoE 1’s focus has shifted from training soldiers within the Rotational Training Units (RTU), to mentoring Ukrainian Instructors. The photos show members of 2 PPCLI conducting training and rehearsals on Urban Operations drills with Ukrainian instructors prior to them delivering lessons to the RTU soldiers. Over the course of several days LoE 1 instructors delivered theory and practical training to their Ukrainian counterparts.  A few members of LoE 1 even took it upon themselves to develop Urban Operations training videos, narrated in Ukrainian, to serve as a training tool for future Canadian rotations and Ukrainian Instructors. The videos that were produced, and the drills being imparted on the Ukrainian instructors, are only two of many ways that 2 PPCLI soldiers are enhancing the survivability of Ukrainian soldiers.
