Colonel Commandant Visit
On Tuesday, the Strathcona’s were privileged to host Brigadier General Dean on his first official visit as the Colonel Commandant of the Royal Canadian Armour Corps, having just been appointed in May. The General remarked that it was fitting that his first trip as Col Cmdt would be to this first Regiment. He enjoyed a stand up lunch with the officers and senior NCOs in the Mariner Room before taking a walk around the Regimental lines. The Col Cmdt had a good look at all the equipment and capabilities that the Regiment has to offer. General Dean was given a familiarization on the Leopard 2 A4M and his visit concluded with a quick trip around the garrison.
